Job Summary
Build and manage client portfolios for Endowments & Foundations clients by performing asset allocation, manager selection, and risk management. Engage with clients to conduct discovery, draft investment policy statements, and provide quarterly reporting. Ensure smooth administrative operations involving custodians, trading, and client cash flows while partnering with internal advisors to win new assets. Create institutional content such as white papers and RFP proposals alongside subject matter experts. Manage relationships with key internal partners including Branch Support, Middle Office, and technology teams.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience servicing institutional portfolios, preferably for endowments and foundations
- Experience and knowledge in investment/ wealth management platforms and vehicles, including managed account platforms, mutual funds, ETFs, separate accounts, and alternative investments
- Experience and knowledge in global capital markets
- Firm understanding of portfolio management concepts including modern portfolio theory, asset allocation, portfolio construction, manager selection, risk management and performance attribution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Must be very detail-oriented, with an ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive & hard working with strong professional accountability
- FINRA Licensed: SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 required within 90 days
