Job Summary
Global Investment Banking - Vice President role in Hong Kong focusing on leading deal execution and client relations across cross-border transactions in M&A, ECM, and DCM. Primary day-to-day client point of contact, overseeing junior bankers' analytical work, mentoring staff, refining marketing and execution materials, and managing financial projection models. Leads client negotiations and coordinates with lawyers, accountants, and counterparties, while liaising with internal/external stakeholders to drive cross-border transactions. Requires Mandarin proficiency to engage with APAC clients; emphasizes independence, self-motivation, strong communication and writing skills, and a deep track record in ECM and M&A with execution leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant investment banking experience
- Proficiency in Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients across the APAC region
- Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills
- Well-versed in ECM and M&A, with a track record of leading transaction execution
- Ability to interact comfortably with clients and senior management
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team
