Job Summary
Global Investment Banking Analyst in the Financial Sponsors Group executes financing and advisory transactions across M&A, IPOs, bonds, loans, and structured products. Responsibilities include originating, structuring, and executing deals; developing marketing/execution materials; building financial models and conducting detailed valuation analyses; interacting with senior bankers and client management to manage risks; coordinating and reviewing analytical work of junior bankers; liaising with lawyers and accountants; providing leadership and mentorship to junior bankers and research analysts; and leading client negotiations and Q&A processes. Preferred proficiency in Korean and Chinese to manage APAC client relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance/Economics or a related field from a top tier educational institution
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in investment banking
- Strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with analytical and decision-making capabilities
- Execution-oriented understanding of transaction cycle and steps in the process
- Impeccable communication with senior professionals, clients and stakeholders
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
