Job Summary
Global Investment Banking Communications Manager VP role focusing on developing and executing internal communications and employee engagement for JP Morgan’s Global Investment Banking business. Responsibilities include creating executive messages, managing internal newsletters, drafting talking points, designing presentations, writing internal articles, planning and managing internal events end-to-end, building relationships with key stakeholders across Business Management, Marketing, Content, Digital and Legal, and driving strategic communications initiatives with senior leaders. Requires strong writing and editing, storytelling, project management, and the ability to translate complex topics for diverse audiences; experience with budgets/forecasting and working within matrixed organizations; proficiency in PowerPoint and digital design tools (e.g., HTML, Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with SharePoint/intranet tech.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, communications, journalism, or related area
- 7+ years of work experience in relevant field
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of corporate internal and employee communications strategies
- Experience with storytelling and presenting complex subjects to diverse audiences
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with SharePoint and intranet technologies
- Ability to manage budgets, forecasting, headcount, accruals, and reconciliations
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Comfort with digital design for presentations
