Job Summary
Collaborate with Senior Field Service Engineers on installing, maintaining, and upgrading customer equipment while applying digital analytics for troubleshooting and basic diagnostic techniques. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems with training provided, and coordinate directly with customers to ensure smooth operations. This role requires extensive travel, approximately 75% of the time, and involves working in clean rooms with full PPE. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, ability to obtain a passport, and meet all on-site safety and environmental guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to learn and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical challenges
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a passport, if travel is required
- Ability to meet all on-site requirements, including safety, environmental guidelines, and COVID-19 protocols
- Ability to distinguish between colors
- Ability to work with electricity
- Ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Ability to work at height
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders
- Ability to bend, squat, twisting, kneeling, reaching

Desired Qualifications
- 1–2 years of work experience in customer/field service support, or a related technical field
- Associate degree in electronics or engineering technologies
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, or thermodynamics
- Familiarity with hand tools and their appropriate usage, including digital multimeters
