Job Summary
Associate Director, Global Infrastructure & Project Finance – Complex Credits Group lead ratings analyses of infrastructure and project finance transactions across US, Canada and across EMEA, develop rating approaches and criteria, identify trends, and publish ratings and reports. Collaborate with senior analysts, meet with issuers/bankers/advisors to produce ratings for publication, and represent Fitch at industry conferences and meetings. Hybrid work arrangement across Fitch offices in New York, Chicago, Austin, San Francisco, and Toronto. Requires a bachelor's degree (minimum) and 7+ years in capital markets or credit analysis, with strong modeling, communication, and analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (minimum)
- 7+ years relevant experience in capital markets or credit analysis
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent modelling skills and thorough familiarity with spreadsheet-based financial models
- Ability to read and fully comprehend complex structures and ask probing questions to issuers and advisers
- Ability to shift fluidly between multiple projects as priorities change
- Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment
- Previous experience covering infrastructure or project finance sectors (preferred)
