Job Summary
Lead IFS’s global Energy strategy and market impact across Mining, Oil & Gas, and asset-intensive production environments. Define global Energy strategy, drive competitive positioning, and orchestrate cross-functional execution with Sales, Product, R&D, Marketing, and Partners. Represent IFS globally at events and analyst engagements; craft Energy value propositions aligned to industry trends such as energy transition, asset optimization, operational resilience, and digitalization of field operations. Develop Energy-specific sales plays, GTM initiatives, and enablement content; build relationships with Energy industry partners and influencers worldwide. Ensure consistent Energy messaging and ICP definition across regions; provide market insight for M&A and ecosystem development. Requires 12-15+ years of Energy industry experience, strong executive communication, and ability to travel internationally.
Required Qualifications
- 12-15+ years of Energy industry experience across Mining and/or Oil & Gas with strong exposure to enterprise software/SaaS
- Proven experience operating at a strategic or executive level with C-suite engagement
- Deep understanding of Energy operating models, value chains, regulatory context, and digital transformation levers
- Strong commercial acumen and competitive awareness across global Energy markets
- Ability to influence across regions and collaborate with Sales, Product, R&D, Partners, and Marketing
- Excellent executive communication, thought leadership presence, and global stakeholder management
- Ability to travel internationally as needed
