Job Summary
Act as a global strategic HR Business Partner for the Ophthalmology SBU management team, providing advisory services that drive transformation toward Operational Excellence. Steer strategic decisions on recruiting, succession planning, and performance management while leading the MED Future Program from an HR perspective. Coach managers in talent development, manage workforce assessments, and facilitate global HR process implementation aligned with corporate priorities. Use people analytics to support strategic resource allocation and drive a high-performance culture linking incentives to business outcomes. Manage interfaces with local HRBMs and central functions to harmonize structures across all sites. Fluent in English and German with a Master's degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant academic degree (e.g. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field)
- Several years of proven experience as an HR Business Manager in the business and sales environment
- Expertise in operational HR-related processes and tools
- Demonstrated experience in driving and implementing transformation programs (e.g. organizational redesign, workforce transformation, culture and capability development) in a complex, international business environment
- Expertise in creating HR strategies that align with organizational goals and drive employee engagement
- Proven ability to work effectively and manage teams in a global, culturally diverse environment
- Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Process improvement skills
- Capacity to influence and engage at all levels within the organization
- Focus on creating innovative HR solutions
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in German
