Job Summary
Support the development, adaptation, and validation of health economic models including cost-effectiveness, budget impact, and disease progression models. Perform data extraction, synthesis, and analysis from clinical trials, real-world evidence, and literature to assist in cost-utility analyses for reimbursement submissions. Contribute to technical reports and model documentation while responding to health authority queries. Collaborate cross-functionally with Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Biostatistics teams. This VIE contract within Sanofi's Global HEVA Modeling team offers hands-on experience in health economics for candidates aged 18–28 based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, starting January 1, 2027.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of health economic modeling methodologies (Markov models, decision trees, partitioned survival models, microsimulation)
- Proficiency in at least one modeling/programming tool: R, Excel/VBA, TreeAge Pro, Python
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and interpretation of clinical trial data
- Understanding of HTA processes and reimbursement frameworks
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced international environment
- Comfortable working in a multicultural, cross-functional team setting
- Master's degree or PhD in one of the following fields: Health Economics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Methods or a related field
- Fluent English (written & verbal)
- Citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland)
- Age between 18 and 28
- Applications submitted in English
