Job Summary
As Global Head, PV Centre of Excellence & Standards, you will define and govern global pharmacovigilance standards, policies, and frameworks to enable regulatory excellence, innovation, and scalable operations. You will lead a global organization of roughly 40–50 associates, drive capability development and succession planning, and partner with senior stakeholders across Development, Regulatory, Quality, IT, and Medical to align enterprise-wide PV strategy. Responsibilities include ensuring sustained inspection readiness with Health Authorities and Notified Bodies, shaping the PV standards landscape by determining which standards to create, evolve, or retire, leading future-state PV process design to embed practical, scalable ways of working, and integrating new platforms and technologies into PV operations while driving digitisation and process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, PharmD, MSc) or equivalent experience
- Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage
- Senior leadership experience in pharma, biotech, medtech, or other highly regulated environments
- Proven track record in defining and governing global standards, governance frameworks, or operating model transformation
- Experience leading enterprise-wide transformation in complex regulated settings
- Demonstrated ability to lead through leaders and influence senior stakeholders across functions
- Experience working with PV systems, digital platforms, automation, or data-enabled transformation (desirable)
