Job Summary
Global Head of YouTube (Video Growth) leads YouTube marketing strategy and execution to drive audience growth, artist visibility, and commercial performance. Oversees global YouTube campaigns, collaborates cross-functionally with artists, video/creative teams, partner managers, and internal stakeholders to maximize campaign performance, audience engagement, and cultural impact worldwide. Maintains hands-on involvement in priority artist projects, builds and develops a high-performing global video team, partners with YouTube ops and Shorts teams, music partnerships, DSPs, and new media partners. Distills actionable insights from video and music consumption data, identifies macro trends, and ensures strategic alignment across territories. Responsible for hiring, training, mentoring, and driving growth and retention of the video team. Responsible for budgeting and resource allocation, workflow implementations, and global strategy ownership across markets.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a marketing strategy role within the music, entertainment, or media industry
- Expertise in digital content platforms including Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, and major DSPs
- Proven experience leading and managing global or multi-regional marketing teams
- Demonstrated success developing and executing large-scale YouTube campaigns with measurable results
- Deep understanding of music marketing, streaming ecosystems, audience growth strategies, and fan engagement
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and collaborating with artists, managers, labels, agencies, and platform partners
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting campaign performance data, KPIs, and ROI metrics
- Experience overseeing budgets, forecasting, and campaign optimization across multiple markets
- Knowledge of influencer marketing, social media trends, and emerging digital platforms
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with CRM, audience data collection, and fan acquisition strategies including email, SMS, and retargeting
- People Management experience
- Ability to work effectively across diverse cultures, teams, and international markets
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a results-driven mindset
