Job Summary
Lead the global procurement function with accountability for Direct and Indirect spend, governance, and transformation. Define and execute procurement strategy across multinational, matrix-driven operations; drive strategic sourcing, supplier management, risk monitoring, and cost optimization across a CHF ~750 million spend. Strengthen ESG criteria, ensure supply continuity, and advance digital transformation while partnering with senior leaders across Operations, Finance, Legal, ESG, and other corporate functions. Build and lead a high-performing international procurement organization, manage large spend portfolios, and influence executive stakeholders. Requires a Master’s degree (MBA preferred) and fluent English; German/Mandarin/French skills are advantageous. Location: Bayreuth, Germany; in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent executive education preferred
- Fluent English is essential; additional languages such as German, French, or Mandarin advantageous
