Job Summary
Conduct end-to-end leadership of the people function, partnering with the CEO on organizational design, talent acquisition, and workforce planning across US and India. Implement performance management cycles, compensation frameworks, and employee development programs while managing compliance, records, and sensitive personnel matters. Elevate the employer brand, lead recruiting, and embed AI-forward thinking into HR operations to support rapid growth. Operate as a hands-on advisor who writes policies, runs calibrations, and builds high-performance teams within a profitable fintech scaling to 180+ employees.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years experience in Human Resources
- 5+ years in senior people leadership roles
- meaningful time in high-growth technology companies
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience scaling people functions across distributed teams and multiple locations or time zones
- Proven ability to design high-performance organizations in partnership with strong functional leaders
- Strong command of compensation strategy in technology companies
- Ability to operate as both a trusted advisor to a founder-CEO and a hands-on builder
- Exceptional judgment and discretion with sensitive people data and related matters
- Data-driven decision-making
- AI-forward perspective on how technology is reshaping work, roles, and the people function itself
- practical experience deploying AI tools and frameworks within an HR organization
- Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area
- able to work from ARIVE's San Ramon HQ 3 days per week
