Job Summary
Senior Global Head of Audience Communications & Journey Strategy is responsible for leading global audience communications across paid, owned, and earned touchpoints, translating business and brand ambition into clear comms architectures, defining audience priorities, channel roles, message hierarchy, and sequencing. The role sets the standard for how communications are planned and built, develops end-to-end audience journeys across channels and time, guides message evolution across awareness, consideration, and conversion, leverages performance signals to optimize sequencing and audience reprioritization, partners with analytics to move from reporting to comms intelligence, builds narratives linking strategy to business outcomes, and mentors comms planning talent in an agency-style, rigorous in-house culture. Preference for experience in regulated or high-consideration categories (e.g., financial services) and familiarity with advanced measurement approaches. The position is located in New York, NY, United States.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in comms planning, connections planning, or audience strategy with significant leadership experience at a global media agency
- Deep understanding of audience engagement across channels
- Hands-on experience with DCO, modular creative, and message-level optimization
- Strong analytical fluency—able to turn performance data into strategic action
- Proven ability to collaborate with creative teams and understand modern creative systems
- Experience operating at global scale in complex organizations
