Global Head of Analytics

Job Summary
Lead and develop the global analytics practice for OLIVER's 300+ client portfolio, managing a distributed team of ~80 specialists across Europe, APAC, and the Americas. Define and evolve analytics methodologies for search, paid social, and creative effectiveness while championing data as a strategic differentiator. Drive commercial growth by owning the analytics revenue line, targeting 10% year-on-year growth, and identifying new opportunities within existing client relationships. Partner with Brandtech Group leaders to co-develop proprietary Gen AI products, specifically scaling the Pencil platform and embedding AI-powered insight into client workflows. Shape group-wide data strategy and present complex findings to C-suite stakeholders to translate data into actionable business decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Significant senior leadership experience in analytics, data strategy or a related discipline, ideally within a creative or media agency, platform, or technology business
- A track record of building and scaling high-performing, multi-disciplinary analytics teams in a global or multi-market context
- Demonstrable success growing revenue and commercialising data or insight propositions
- Experience developing and launching data products or insight tools, ideally in collaboration with technology partners
- Deep familiarity with the marketing analytics landscape: performance measurement, audience insight, social listening, search, paid social and creative effectiveness
- Exceptional strategic thinking — the ability to connect data to business outcomes in ways that resonate with C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Strong commercial instincts: experienced in identifying, shaping and closing revenue opportunities
- Outstanding communication and storytelling skills — able to make complex data feel clear, relevant and actionable
- Ability to lead and inspire distributed, culturally diverse teams across multiple time zones
- Experienced in navigating and influencing complex, matrixed organisations
- Sets the AI strategy for the analytics discipline across OLIVER's global portfolio
- Genuine fluency in Gen AI and its applications in marketing and data — including hands-on experience building agents and agentic workflows
- Leads governance and quality standards for AI-assisted analytics across the practice
- Contributes thought leadership on AI's role in data, creativity and marketing — internally across Brandtech and externally in the industry
- Accountability for the analytics revenue line and year-on-year growth targets
- Experience building and presenting commercial propositions from data and insight capabilities
- P&L management experience across multiple markets or business lines
- Track record of presenting financial performance to executive and board-level stakeholders
