Job Summary
Lead the Health & Safety program as the technical domain expert, developing, governing and embedding a consistent H&S framework aligned with ISO 45001 and external obligations. Drive measurable outcomes through cross-functional collaboration, incident investigation and root-cause analysis, and data-driven decision-making. Coach and mentor site HSE professionals, champion Lean and the Sandoz Business System, and manage multiple high-priority initiatives while traveling up to 20% to support manufacturing or complex operations.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- Certified HSE professional (e.g., NEBOSH, CSP, CMIOSH)
- 8+ years of senior HSE leadership experience in manufacturing/complex operations
- Strong data-driven decision-making and performance management
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 and HSE management systems
- Experience with Lean practices and Integrated Work Systems
- Fluency in English
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
Desired Qualifications
