Job Summary
Global Fund Finance – Private Equity Strategies, Vice President: end-to-end ownership of fund financial operations and reporting for Blackstone’s Private Equity drawdown funds, including fund administration, accounting, financial reporting, and investor reporting. Serve as primary controllership owner for select Private Equity strategy funds, overseeing activity recording, capital calls and distributions, waterfall allocations, management-fee calculations, and preparation of quarterly and audited financial statements. Collaborate with Institutional Client Services, Private Wealth teams, and cross-functional groups to ensure data integrity, regulatory filings (Form PF, AIFMD), and timely investor deliverables. Lead and mentor onshore and offshore resources, contribute to process improvements and automation, and champion AI-enabled accounting workflows to streamline close and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
- 12+ years of progressive experience in public accounting and/or private equity fund administration
- Experience as a player/coach with team leadership
- Strong technical accounting knowledge relevant to private equity funds
- Analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple complex workstreams under tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Investran and/or LemonEdge experience strongly preferred
