Global Finance Director

Job Summary
Lead global financial operations by partnering with executive leadership on strategic planning, business model analysis, and expansion strategies. Consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual group-level reports including P&L, balance sheets, and KPI dashboards for board and investor review. Oversee multi-entity accounting across jurisdictions, manage general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and ensure compliance with tax, VAT, and statutory requirements. Drive budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis to monitor performance against key metrics. Build and mentor a globally distributed finance team while implementing process improvements and leveraging financial systems like NetSuite and Xero.
Required Qualifications
- ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent professional certification
- Minimum 10 years in finance and accounting
- At least 3–5 years in a leadership role managing multi-entity international operations
- Proven experience in preparing and presenting board-level reports and executive dashboards
- Strong understanding of business operations beyond finance, including client contract review, pricing, sales models, and strategic planning
- Hands-on experience with international finance, cross-border compliance, and tax/VAT requirements in multiple jurisdictions
- Advanced use of financial software (Xero, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of influencing and collaborating with senior stakeholders
- Solution-oriented, highly organized, detail-focused, and adaptable in a fast-changing, high-growth environment
