Job Summary
Direct global field service strategy and operating models for semiconductor installed bases through regional leaders, establishing objectives, scorecards, and standardized reviews. Partner with Business Units, Product Management, Sales, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to align priorities, govern escalations, and close systemic issues impacting customers. Own service commercial rhythms to grow profitable revenue, drive global parts/spares planning, and ensure field readiness for new product introductions including safety and cleanroom protocols. Develop organizational capability by leading succession plans, scaling best practices, and driving operational excellence using lean methods and global KPIs. Ensure governance for service management systems, maintain voice-of-customer loops for corrective actions, and lead strategic planning for headcount, budgeting, and inventory. Provide leadership in resolving high-priority escalations and align with global EHS to improve safety practices. Requires 10+ years in semiconductor field service, frequent international travel, and physical readiness for diverse environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Engineering, Operations, or related
- 10+ years of progressive leadership in field service/service operations for semiconductor capital equipment, sub-fab systems, or mission-critical fab support
- Experience leading managers/leaders across regions
- Ability to travel frequently, including internationally
- Ability to lift equipment and perform physically demanding tasks as required in field settings

- Strong operating discipline with service systems of record (ERP/CRM/service management), installed base data, and analytics/dashboarding to manage performance at scale
- Demonstrated ability to lead across cultures and geographies and communicate effectively with executive stakeholders, key accounts, and internal cross-functional partners
- Service-commercial acumen: experience influencing/owning budgets, forecasting, and service contract strategy
- Experience partnering with Sales to win and retain business
- Deep understanding of semiconductor fab operations and service expectations
- Proven escalation leadership with top semiconductor customers, including executive communications and structured problem-solving (RCA/8D) with Quality and Engineering
- Experience driving reliability and serviceability improvements using field and feeding insights into product roadmaps
- Strong knowledge of EHS and compliance requirements relevant to semiconductor fab environments (customer safety programs, permits, contractor requirements)
- Experience building a safety-first field culture
