Job Summary
Lead external-facing security engagements with Fortune 500 CISOs, Deputy CISOs, and AppSec leaders to accelerate high-consequence enterprise deal cycles. Own the CISO and CTO Advisory Board, recruiting 6–10 executive leaders to provide strategic product guidance, market intelligence, and net new pipeline. Shape the strategic enterprise narrative on developer security, secrets management, and AI-assisted development risk, refreshing positioning every 3–6 months. Represent the company at industry forums including FS-ISAC and Health-ISAC while acting as a strategic interpreter between market feedback and Product, Marketing, and Sales. Partner cross-functionally with Solution Engineering to elevate organizational credibility and GTM maturity. Based in NYC or Boston with hybrid flexibility, this role requires a former CISO or senior security executive with 10+ years of hands-on technical credibility in application security and secrets management.
Required Qualifications
- Former CISO, Deputy CISO, Head of AppSec, or senior enterprise security executive
- Highly respected security executive-facing leader from a leading cybersecurity company
- 10+ years in cybersecurity, enterprise security leadership, or strategic security advisory environments
- Hands-on understanding of application security, developer security, secrets management, cloud security, DevSecOps, and non-human identity
- Ability to engage substantively with technical CISOs
- Calm, high-judgment executive presence
- Natural relationship builder and strong listener
- Extroverted and collaborative by nature
- Ability to cultivate long-term executive relationships
- Facilitate meaningful peer connections through roundtables, executive dinners, and advisory engagements
- Consultative instinct

- Respond with tailored, context-aware solutions rather than scripted vendor pitches

- Security leader who has personally evaluated, deployed, or operationalized developer security tooling within an enterprise environment
- Based in New York City
- 3 days/week in-office for the first 6 months
