Job Summary

Global Events Financial Controller for the Global Events department, owning the financial lifecycle of international events from vendor quotations through final payment and yearly budget reconciliation. Consolidate quotations, elaborate budgets with tracking and real-time financial clarity for the Events Team, manage contract signatures, invoicing and payments, perform multi-currency & multi-company reconciliations, and generate post-event reports. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration, 5+ years in events/travel/hospitality accounting, advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint, and professional proficiency in English and Spanish (Italian a plus). Some travel may be required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting of Events, Travel, or Hospitality industry
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and Power Point
  • Language: Full professional proficiency or Native in English & Spanish. Italian is a plus
  • Soft Skills: High attention to detail and strong negotiation skills for vendor quotations. Organization skills
  • Some traveling availability might be required
