Job Summary
Global Event Programs Lead responsible for designing and delivering a global events portfolio (hackathons, cross-disciplinary summits) across Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Lead a team of 8 event managers (London and Mountain View) with agency/vendor management, budget governance, and compliance with health, safety, and security. Drive strategic, innovative event formats, partner with senior stakeholders across Google DeepMind and Google, and translate complex scientific/AI concepts into world-class, tangible experiences that advance public-benefit objectives. Requires senior-level, cross-functional leadership, AI fluency, and a proven ability to manage global programs and international travel.
