Job Summary
Define and maintain global standards for EUC asset data in the CMDB, ensuring accurate records across all regions. Establish mandatory data fields, naming conventions, and ownership rules while conducting regular audits to enforce process compliance. Educate regional teams on configuration processes and support them during procurement, deployment, and asset disposal. Monitor adherence to global asset management policies, escalate non-compliance, and collaborate with internal teams to extract and report on asset data for strategic decision-making. Participate in internal and external audits, lead strategic initiatives to improve data quality, and evaluate existing configuration management systems.
Required Qualifications
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills with the ability to interpret complex IT processes and policies
- Proficiency in ITIL-based configuration and asset management practices
- Experience with CMDB tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Experience with server monitoring platforms (e.g., SolarWinds)
- Ability to use, understand and interpret the SACM Process policies and procedures to ensure adherence
- Seasoned analytical and reasoning skills
- Seasoned ability to interpret complex processes and policies
- Seasoned knowledge of the role IT plays in enabling the business objectives to be met
- Ability to present information at various levels of the organization
- Achievement driven, and delivery focused while maintaining the required quality
- Displays impeccable client service orientation
