Job Summary
Associate on the EDG Flow Trading team collaborates with sales and quant teams to manage daily trading book activities, assess risk, price trades, execute client/internal orders, identify trading opportunities, and coordinate with Middle Office and Quant teams to ensure efficient operations. Responsibilities include assisting in pricing trades and execution, risk evaluation under various scenarios, monitoring market flows, supporting Robo trader and automated pricing/hedging, running daily P&L with Middle Office and IT, and maintaining desk operations. Strong emphasis on understanding financial markets, pricing derivatives, Python-based solution development, effective communication with clients, and cross-team collaboration to support flow trading and enterprise trading activities.
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of financial markets
- Strong analytical and technical background
- Advanced Python skills
- Ability to follow pre-established desk procedures around risk, pricing, P&L, and execution
- Strong communication skills to discuss orders, executions, and market activity with clients
