Job Summary
Oversee pre-deal diligence and post-deal integration services for mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions, managing key stakeholders and project teams to quantify HR risks and financial impacts. Review compensation and benefits programs, assess organizational designs, and execute go-forward strategies across change management, organizational design, and communications. Prepare written reports and presentations for C-Suite executives, conduct interviews with Board members, and direct junior staff on complex data models and deliverables. Meet strict deadlines while collaborating with external advisors and BDO leadership on domestic and global transactions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Field of study in Applied Mathematics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Human Resources Management
- Five (5) or more years of prior experience in HR transactions, actuarial, compensation and/or strategic service consulting
- Ability to clearly communicate (both written and verbally)
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Desired Qualifications
- Field of study in Applied Mathematics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Human Resources Management
- Strong financial acumen
- Strong Excel skills
- Prior experience in managing large scale projects
- Prior experience drafting reports and presentations to 'C-Suite' executives
- Prior experience collaborating with other M&A service lines
- Prior experience in supporting successful business development campaigns
- Active CPA, FSA, ASA, Enrolled Actuary, SPHR, Member of the Bar, JD, Chartered Financial Analyst, or Certified Equity Professional
- Knowledge and understanding of industry business models and financial structures
