Job Summary
Global Payroll Manager responsible for assisting clients with global payroll obligations, reducing compliance risk, and identifying overpayments. Provides global payroll advice, analyzes alternatives to reduce payroll burden, and communicates policy changes to clients. Drives business development and marketing in global payroll, collaborates with Core Tax Partners and Directors, supervises staff, and delivers solutions that integrate payroll knowledge with business/industry insights. Leads client engagements, ensures compliance with authorities, drafts responses to examiner questions, and represents clients before global payroll authorities when needed. Develops tools to enhance the Global Payroll Services practice and participates in industry groups and external SALT initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, focus in Accounting, Finance, or Business (required)
- Masters degree in Accounting, Taxation, or Business (preferred)
- Juris Doctorate (preferred)
- Six (6) or more years of prior experience in employment tax (required)
- Experience supervising employment tax professionals (required)
- CPA certification or Enrolled Agent certification (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) (preferred)
- Experience with corporate taxation (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to lead and develop a team and client relationships
