Job Summary

Develop and implement efficient methods to maximize client benefits by decreasing current and future taxes while executing tasks relating to taxation of equity compensation and deferred compensation. Research necessary situations, analyze facts, compose detailed reports, and assist with compensation planning and benchmarking for executive models. Ensure client compliance with applicable authorities, obtain required information, and document work products for senior review. Review SEC filings, survey data, and best practice guidelines to provide creative approaches to compensation opportunities that promote shareholder interests. Monitor regulatory actions regarding executive compensation rules and advise clients on compliance strategies. Assist in preparing studies of market practices to identify alternative courses of action and develop an understanding of the impact of clients' business objectives on compensation strategy development.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Human Resources

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Services, Human Resources or other relevant field
  • Three (3) or more years of prior work experience in compensation and/or strategic service consulting
  • Certified Compensation Professional, CPA certification or other relevant certification
  • Statistical software packages
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word
  • High proficiency in English, both verbal and written (including technical writing skills)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to successfully interact with professionals at all levels
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
  • Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
  • Capable of effectively managing a team of professionals, and delegating work assignments as needed
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and client personnel
  • Ability to encourage team environment on engagements, and contribute to the professional development of assigned personnel
  • Moderate knowledge and understanding of legislative process regarding tax policy
