Job Summary
Develop and implement global ecumenical strategy for active regions through collaborative processes with partners and PCUSA constituents. Create common spaces for information sharing and decision-making where concerns, initiatives, and needs of strategic global partners are communicated clearly. Represent PCUSA to international partners, ecumenical entities, and Mid Councils at meetings and consultations as directed by leadership. Monitor financial disbursements to partners according to grants policy and assist in developing security and humanitarian assistance plans for specific regions. Provide support and connection to diaspora communities and Mid Councils while maintaining a home base in the United States. Requires travel domestically and internationally, with occasional evening or weekend hours to support events and programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience in cross-cultural or international ministry
- Faith commitment to Jesus Christ
- Strong Christian witness in the Reformed tradition
- Sense of call to this position
- Understanding/comprehension of the PCUSA constitution
- Knowledge of and commitment to the ecumenical witness and ministry of the PCUSA
- Language skills appropriate to the region
- Networking capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency in PowerPoint
- Excellent written communication skills
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Good listening skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated skills in working in a team relationship
- Able to maintain emotional balance under stress

Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Experience preferably toward an understanding of the PCUSA
- Candidates from Presbyterian communities in the global south
- Candidates from other historic Presbyterian Communities of Color
- Theological training
- Fluency in languages other than English
