Job Summary
Global Director of Product Management to lead the development and execution of a worldwide product strategy, manage a diverse portfolio across value chains, drive market insights and pricing, and mentor a high-performing team. Collaborate with market-facing and technical functions to translate concepts into commercially successful offerings, steer lifecycle management and portfolio rationalization, develop a globally aligned product roadmap, and balance business strategy with product development capabilities to maximize profitability. Travel approximately 30% domestically and internationally to support global markets and partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or Chemistry (MBA preferred)
- Proven track record of success in global product management
- Experience within specialty plastics or chemicals industry preferred
- Ability to deliver product strategies and execution at a global scale
- Experience working with teams across diverse global markets
- Proven ability to rationalize product portfolios across multiple businesses and markets
- Strong business acumen and the ability to integrate technical and commercial aspects of product management
- Experience developing pricing strategies considering product development capabilities and target markets
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to build robust product roadmaps and profitable portfolios leveraging stage-gate processes
