Job Summary
The Global Director of Social Data will lead the development of measurement frameworks and strategies that connect social activity to business outcomes. This role requires mastery in social media analytics, with experience across major platforms and a strong understanding of algorithms and audience behaviors. Responsibilities include establishing a unified measurement system, owning the social analytics tech stack, and designing standardized products for global deployment. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical skills in data analysis and visualization, along with significant experience in guiding clients through their measurement maturity. This position requires exceptional communication skills for translating complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 7-10+ years in social media analytics or digital measurement
- Deep hands-on experience across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter/X, Snapchat, LinkedIn
- Exceptional ability to advise senior stakeholders
- Experience supporting new business development
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with creative, strategy, and technology teams
Desired Qualifications
- Expert understanding of algorithms, content formats, audience behaviors, and native analytics
- Experience with social listening platforms such as Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Pulsar
- Advanced Excel skills
- Expert with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, and Power BI
- Track record designing measurement frameworks, attribution models, and success metrics aligned to business objectives
