Job Summary
Manage daily execution of Group Security Operations across endpoint, network, identity, and cloud environments by coordinating the SOC, MDR services, and managed security partners to ensure SLA adherence. Lead end-to-end incident response, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence activities while overseeing SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and security platform improvements. Coordinate a global team of specialists and external vendors to drive continuous improvement, remediation, and compliance with ISO/IEC 27001, NIS2, and GDPR frameworks. Report operational KPIs and support budget planning to the Group CISO within a multinational enterprise operating across 24 countries.
Required Qualifications
- 6–8 years of experience in cybersecurity
- significant experience in Security Operations, SOC or Incident Response environments
- Previous experience managing security operations teams or coordinating technical cybersecurity professionals
- Experience working with Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) and external security vendors
- Experience handling cybersecurity incidents and coordinating response activities
- Exposure to multinational and complex enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of Security Operations technologies, including SIEM/SOAR, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, threat intelligence and incident response
- Good understanding of enterprise infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS and/or GCP) and identity security
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards including ISO/IEC 27001, NIS2, GDPR and NIST
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to prioritize activities and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical mindset with a continuous improvement approach
- Collaborative leadership style and ability to work across international teams
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity or equivalent experience
- Fluency in English
