Job Summary
Global Custody Asset Servicing & Proxy Support Associate based in Hong Kong, responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of corporate action events from announcement to completion, and ensuring accurate proxy-vote recording through oversight processes. The role collaborates with global partners across middle office, client service, product, and regional processing teams to monitor, analyze, and drive continuous improvement of service delivery. Key duties include timely completion of control checkpoints and client instructions, process refinement to mitigate risks, acting as supervisor to mitigate risk, reconciling proxy votes with vendors, providing guidance and training to the team, and serving as the single point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to resolve corporate actions and proxy queries.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in day-to-day operation processing
- Maintain high accuracy rate with input validation and exception handling
- Strong analytical skills with independent decision-making and initiative
- Clear communication skills to articulate risks and processing issues to management
- Experience driving process enhancements and using digital tools globally and regionally
- Track record of risk reduction in a risk-based work environment
- Ability to operate under tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Willingness to work with multiple stakeholders and provide guidance and training to team members
- Experience with UAT testing for new applications (preferred)
- Financial services background, preferably custody or asset servicing (income/corporate actions/proxy voting) (preferred)
