Job Summary
Analyst or Associate on the EMEA Leveraged Finance Trading desk covering loans and special situations with focus on opportunistic and stressed credits. Collaborate with traders to generate trading revenues, manage desk inventory, and produce credit commentary; prepare summaries for Sales and pitch trading opportunities; support market making and pricing decisions. Strong emphasis on credit analysis, financial modeling, valuation, and clear communication; multilingual capability (German/French/Spanish) is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in leveraged loans and high yield bonds credit analysis and monitoring
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
- Clear and impactful communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Experience collaborating with senior team members to arrive at pricing and facilitate market making
- Knowledge of debt documentation concepts and willingness to learn to identify documentational weaknesses
- European language skill is highly desirable (German, French or Spanish)
