Job Summary
Managing Director, Global Credit Trading for aviation leasing focused on sourcing, structuring, trading, and overseeing secondary aircraft and engine lease transactions. Responsibilities include driving sourcing, structuring, negotiation, and execution of lease transactions; developing and maintaining relationships with airlines, lessors, OEMs, and other aviation counterparties; oversight of term sheets, lease agreements, and related documentation; managing aviation lease assets for risk-adjusted returns; asset performance monitoring and compliance; leading credit assessment, collateral valuation, and cash flow modeling; maintaining robust risk management practices including scenario analysis and stress testing; growing and mentoring a high-performing team of origination and asset management professionals; required credentials include long-term aviation leasing experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong leadership and network in aviation finance. Preferred qualifications include FAA/EASA/Cape Town registry familiarity and FINRA licensing (SIE, Series 7, Series 63).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in aviation leasing, with a proven track record in origination, structuring, and asset management
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including building and managing teams
- Deep network within the aviation finance community (airlines, lessors, OEMs)
- Strong technical skills in aircraft and engine appraisal, lease cash flow modeling, credit assessment, and negotiation of complex agreements
