Job Summary
Global Credit Manager to lead development and maintenance of global credit policies, assess creditworthiness on a global scale, and oversee credit limits and collections, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. Responsibilities include establishing and managing credit limits, overseeing global collections, mitigating credit risk, collaborating with legal, sales, and customer service teams, preparing reports on credit metrics and aging, ensuring compliance, guiding global credit and collection teams, overseeing daily treasury operations including cash disbursements and receipts, executing financial transactions such as wire transfers, managing the commercial risk management program with the CFO, and forecasting insurance costs with local sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience in credit management, preferably within a global corporation
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and collections strategies
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with stakeholders
- Knowledge of international credit laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Proficiency in relevant software and financial tools for efficient credit management
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; ERP systems experience and financial reporting systems experience preferred
