Job Summary

Global Corporate Banking – Subsidiary Banker for Central Eastern Europe (CEE); Vice President – Frankfurt or Warsaw. Based in Frankfurt or Warsaw, you will cover CEE subsidiaries of corporate clients, collaborating with HQ teams and regional product groups. You will originate and manage subsidiary business, conduct comprehensive client analyses to identify needs across Payments/treasury services, trade and loan products, debt capital markets, FX and commodities, risk management, and asset management, and translate insights into concrete solutions. Responsibilities include building coverage of selected clients, coordinating with Debt Capital Markets, FX & Rates, TS, Asset Management, and other partners; developing forward-looking business plans; supporting HQ bankers in client account planning; identifying opportunities for new products and services; contributing to product development and marketing initiatives; developing junior talent; leading sales activities, proposals, presentations, and negotiations; maintaining compliance with risk/control expectations (AML/KYC). Qualifications emphasize strong client relationship management, cross-country multi-product experience, payments and treasury product knowledge, risk/credit proficiency, proactive problem solving, commercial judgment, cross-cultural collaboration, strong communication and planning skills, travel willingness, and fluency in English (additional CEE languages advantageous). The role is a senior-level position reporting to the Head of CEEMEA Subsidiary Banking, with two potential bases: Frankfurt or Warsaw.

Required Qualifications

  • Client Relationship Manager with proven ability to build and develop client relationships in CEE, win new business, close transactions and develop networks
  • Proven track record of managing complex (multi-product & multi-country) client relationships at regional level
  • Knowledge of Payments products including treasury services, FX, derivatives, bonds, loans and trade finance
  • Strong working knowledge of credit, markets
  • Pro-active and problem solving mind-set with ability to identify, clearly present and implement solutions
  • Strong commercial judgment
  • Strong influencing skills and proven track record of managing cross cultural environments
  • Strong partnership skills & excellent communication skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly domestically and internationally
  • Fluency in English is required. Additional CEE languages are advantageous.
