Global Corporate Banking - Large-Cap Banker - Vice President

Job Summary
Vice President in Global Corporate Banking focuses on managing a dedicated large Japanese corporate portfolio across diversified industries, partnering with product teams (Payments, Markets, IB), and driving cross-sell opportunities across debt products (loans, syndications, DCM), FX and rates derivatives, commodities derivatives, equity derivatives, trade & working capital finance, and cash management/liquidity solutions. Responsible for holistic relationship management of 15-20 accounts, developing and executing account plans with cross-functional partners, growing the portfolio, identifying new business, and collaborating with Credit Risk to manage risk. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, 6+ years of corporate banking RM experience, proven ability to originate new business, strong knowledge of derivatives and transaction banking, leadership, and fluency in Japanese and English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- At least 6 years of relevant relationship management experience in corporate banking with global capabilities
- Proven track record of originating new business
- Solid knowledge of flow derivatives, FX, commodities, transaction banking and securities processing
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong credit structuring/documentation skills
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent Japanese and business level English
