Job Summary
Subsidiary Banking Associate in JPMorgan Tokyo responsible for independently covering Treasurer-level relationships for multinational clients in Japan; develop business plans and maintain client relationships; partner with global and regional teams to pursue financial goals; market Treasury Services, cash and liquidity solutions, trade solutions, credit, securities services, asset management, and select Investment Banking products; conduct client analysis to identify business needs and support delivery of corporate banking products; own and execute KYC for multinational subsidiaries in Japan, ensuring compliance and supporting risk management; requires native Japanese and business English proficiency and strong analytical, relational, and communication skills; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling; prior experience as a banker, client relationship manager, product salesperson, or investment banking associate is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Strong analytical and research skills
- knowledge of accounting, finance, credit, financial markets, KYC, AML / CFT governance
- Proven ability to manage client relationships independently
- Demonstrable maturity, judgment, leadership, proactivity, teamwork, and communication skills
- Native level fluency in Japanese
- Business level fluency in English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling
