Job Summary
Associate in JP Morgan's Innovation Economy within Global Corporate Banking; responsible for managing client relationships, conducting industry and company research, assisting with credit analysis, preparing pitchbooks and marketing materials, supporting deal execution from initial pitch through close, generating revenue opportunities through client outreach, collaborating with underwriting teams on credit analysis, building financial models to support financing transactions, and coordinating with product partners and stakeholders. The role involves working with Senior Bankers and Product Partners, gaining exposure to M&A, debt and equity capital markets, and treasury services, plus participation in ecosystem events organized or attended by JP Morgan. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in Corporate/Investment Banking, Mandarin fluency, strong analytical and modelling skills, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance/Economics or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Corporate or Investment Banking
- Fluent in Mandarin to manage Chinese clients based across APAC region
- Proficient analytical, and modelling skills
- Organized, detail-oriented and proactive
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment
- Highly motivated team player with solid communication and project management skills
- Outstanding ethics, integrity and judgment
- Excel and PowerPoint skills
