Job Summary
Global Corporate Banking – Corporate Banker, Vice President in Malaysia leads a portfolio of Malaysia-headquartered Government-Linked and Local Corporate clients. Acquire and develop new client relationships while deepening existing ones; independently manage portfolio growth across JPMorgan’s corporate banking solutions including financing, capital markets, risk management, payments, securities services and asset management. Develop and implement strategic account plans, collaborate with product partners to execute cross-sell strategies, and lead financing-related work streams with internal approvals. Demonstrate strong risk management practices and ensure adherence to policies and regulations. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with regional colleagues to deliver integrated cross-border banking solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in corporate banking and/or client coverage
- Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of credit and corporate finance products, risk management solutions and transaction banking
- Proven track record as a Client Relationship Manager, with the ability to build and develop client relationships, win new business, close transactions and develop networks both internally and externally
- Strong credit, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels
