Job Summary
Global Corporate Banking – Associate in Venture Capital Relationships Team (Innovation Economy) at J.P. Morgan. The role focuses on covering leading VC firms in Greater China, building deep relationships, collaborating with multiple lines of business to deliver a full suite of banking services (commercial banking, investment banking, lending, payments, securities services, private banking and asset management) to VC clients and their portfolio companies, and identifying high-potential emerging VC firms in Greater China.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience at a leading VC fund or a major global bank in a client coverage role
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or other related disciplines
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin
- Strategic thinking with strong sales and business development skills
- Experience in working collaboratively with multiple lines of business or different service providers to deliver a highly coordinated, single-firm approach to clients
- Self-motivated, with a willingness to learn about new, emerging verticals, and work in a fast-paced, action-oriented environment
