Job Summary
Global Conflicts Associate within Corporate Legal. Responsible for analyzing requests for Conflicts clearance, documenting results in Conflicts’ system of record, researching JPMorgan Chase’s relationships with entities involved in proposed transactions, drafting results for senior Global Conflicts and Global Banking/Legal teams, and participating in ad hoc projects. Requires a 4-year degree or equivalent, 3+ years in a fast-moving analytical setting; a law degree is highly desirable. Strong written and verbal communication, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative team environment are required. Knowledge of investment banking products and transactions is highly desirable. Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Required Qualifications
- 4 year University degree or equivalent
- 3+ years work experience in a fast moving analytical environment
- A law degree (Juris Doctor or equivalent) is highly desirable; admission to practice is not required
- Understanding of investment banking products, services and transactions is highly desirable
- Must be detail-oriented, organized and thorough
- Must have the ability to communicate clearly (verbal and written) and document information
- Must be able to manage multiple projects and bring them to timely completion
- Must be comfortable collaborating within a strong team environment
