Job Summary
Strategic, senior-level communications lead for a Global Communications team in TechOps supporting ~13,000 aviation maintenance professionals. Develop and implement comprehensive internal and external communications plans; serve as counsel to senior leaders; manage executive communications, media relations, and day-to-day project needs; collaborate cross-functionally across Communications and TechOps; plan and execute large-scale employee events and town halls; sustain relationships with journalists and stakeholders; drive communications initiatives that inform, inspire, and engage frontline and corporate audiences; strong writing, strategic thinking, autonomy, and experience with Salesforce-based email campaigns are essential; international travel expected.
Required Qualifications
- 6–8 years of corporate communications or agency experience
- Executive presence and ability to interface with senior leaders
- Strong writing skills; synthesize complex topics into clear narratives
- Media relations experience; working with journalists; prepping spokespeople
- Experience with internal employee communications and external/media-facing communications
- Proven event planning experience (town halls, conferences, large-scale employee events)
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Salesforce experience (building emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar)
- Curiosity about aviation, technical operations, or industrial workforce communications (preferred)
