Job Summary
Global Commodity & PCBA/SMT Multi-Site Manager leads global commodity strategy and cross-site PCBA/SMT supplier performance to drive cost competitiveness, supply resilience, and quality. You’ll own sourcing from strategy through contract execution, coordinate with Engineering/Manufacturing/Quality/Logistics/Finance, leverage data and cost models to identify savings, support new product introductions, drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, delivery, and productivity, and develop a high-performing team. Role requires hybrid work arrangement in Warren, MI with up to 25% travel; travel readiness and ability to lead across multi-site, cross-functional teams are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in global purchasing, procurement, supplier management or manufacturing operations
- Proven experience leading teams and driving results across cross-functional or multi-site environments
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Experience developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier performance, and executing contracts or commercial agreements
- Working knowledge of manufacturing, capacity planning, quality systems, and performance metrics, ideally in PCBA/SMT or a similar technical environment
- Ability to influence diverse stakeholders, lead through ambiguity, and adapt quickly in a dynamic business environment
- Ability to travel 10–20% domestically and internationally
