Global Commodity Manager

Global Commodity Manager responsible for developing and executing global sourcing strategies for cable commodities, including supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management. Lead complex negotiations to achieve cost savings, optimize terms, and secure long-term supply agreements. Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities, mitigate risks, and stay informed on industry trends. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program management to define material requirements and enable successful product launches. Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance against cost, quality, delivery, and service metrics, and drive continuous improvement. Identify and mitigate supply-chain risks from geopolitical events, natural disasters, and supplier financial instability. Drive cost reduction through value engineering and design optimization leveraging global volumes. Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements, prepare and present reports to senior leadership, and support sustainability goals with ethically responsible suppliers.
