Job Summary
Formulate, communicate, and accomplish connector and cable commodity sourcing strategies to enable NVIDIA business segment requirements. Build cross-functional alignment with Hardware, Electrical, and Mechanical engineering to identify sourcing strategies, develop supplier relationships, and conduct business reviews that improve performance and account investments. Negotiate Master Service Agreements, cost reduction strategies, and maintain lead-time systems while delivering supplier risk management and BOM risk reduction solutions. Rationalize components and suppliers to capture synergies, enable early supplier involvement for SOL project schedules, and manage complex capacity planning for high-volume ramp during NPI stages. Drive supplier selection in partnership with Engineering to achieve industry-leading time-to-market.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 8+ years' experience in global commodity management
- proven track record in managing connector, cable, and optics Supply Base
- Deep understanding of interconnector and cable technologies, market, manufacturing process, cost drivers and supply landscape
- Ability to be innovative with issues related to strategic sourcing, supplier relations, and supplier performance measurement systems
- Strong analytical skills such as cost modeling, quotation analysis, supplier selection, and supply/demand analysis
- Ability to incorporate AI tools to enhance supply chain and sourcing analysis, data integrity, and decision making
- Excellent negotiation and leadership skills in supplier management and contract negotiation
- Excellent communication and influencing skills dealing with supply base executives
- High degree of integrity, initiative, and attention to detail in a collaborative environment
- Technical experience to compliment strong program management skills
