Job Summary
Global Commercial Operations Consultant at Medtronic leads the end-to-end commercial operating backbone, driving pipeline predictability, CRM-enabled workflows, and global governance. Responsibilities include strengthening pipeline management, defining and enforcing stage definitions and forecast rigor, operating rhythms such as pipeline reviews and QBR inputs, translating sales strategy into system-enabled processes in CRM (e.g., Salesforce), designing end-to-end sales workflows (lead-to-opportunity, opportunity management, deal progression, post-close handoffs), ensuring CRM adoption, evaluating and deploying sales technologies to reduce manual work, and defining a global commercial metrics framework with dashboards and regular reporting. The role requires cross-functional leadership across Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, and Operations, and a strong analytical mindset to translate data into actionable insights for Sales leaders and executives. Travel is estimated at 15% and the position is remote-supported with multiple U.S. office locations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant experience OR Associate's Degree with 8+ years of experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of experience in sales enablement or sales support or equivalent experience
