Job Summary
Global Commercial Lead Marketplaces (m/f/d) drives the international Amazon/marketplace strategy, builds global frameworks for cross-region alignment, advises on vendor/seller/hybrid models and profitability, collaborates with regional leaders to ensure strategic direction, and serves as strategic sparring partner to the CCO while leading a small team. The role requires extensive Amazon Channel Management experience (Seller Central and Vendor Central), deep understanding of Amazon commercial levers (pricing, assortment, supply chain, advertising, terms), strong P&L and profitability orientation, pragmatic execution, and excellent English communication. Location is Solingen with home-office options; hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Amazon Channel Management, ideally with practical experience with both Seller Central and Vendor Central models
- Proven track record managing complex international Amazon setups and coordinating across multiple regions
- Strong commercial and financial acumen: ability to read P&L, analyze margin drivers, and align business models to profitability
- Ability to translate strategic guidelines into operational/global policies and guidelines
- Pragmatic, hands-on problem solver with the ability to develop robust, actionable solutions
- Influence and communication skills to challenge and advise senior leaders without direct authority
- Business fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
