Job Summary
Deliver virtual, hybrid, and in-person training to the US Abbott CRM field team and internal healthcare professionals; lead comprehensive training sessions on safe and effective use of cardiac rhythm management products; develop, update, and adapt training materials in partnership with instructional design; plan launch training for new products; create objective-led educational materials; conduct train-the-trainer sessions; ensure global message consistency; evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback; maintain regulatory compliance and stay current on field developments; collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive continuous improvement of curricula and trainer effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in biotechnology or a medical-related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at multiple levels
- Experience presenting to diverse audiences
- Cardiac Rhythm Management experience
- Field experience in cardiac pacing
- Experience with adult education and training, preferably with medical sales staff, physicians, or allied health professionals
- Knowledge of cardiology, electrophysiology, or cardiac electrophysiology procedures
- Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures and protocol
- Ability to create multi-media, experiential-rich content in blended learning/virtual environments
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization and geographically diverse environments
- Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Affinity for educating others and simplifying complex topics
- Experience delivering training in virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats
- Ability to evaluate training effectiveness and adjust content accordingly
- Regulatory compliance awareness
- Experience collaborating with instructional design teams
- Ability to manage programs and stakeholders across Abbott divisions
- Willingness to travel (approximately 5% stated)
- Demonstrated collaboration and leadership in education programs
