Job Summary
Lead global sourcing and category management for Packaging & Devices, managing ~40m€ annual spend across drug containers, delivery systems, and multi-tier packaging for Ipsen's pharmaceutical portfolio. Design and execute long-term strategic category plans, drive savings pipelines, and negotiate complex RFPs and global master service agreements to optimize total cost of ownership. Act as the Procurement Subject Matter Expert, guiding local teams, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring supply risk mitigation while championing sustainability and circular design initiatives. Partner with R&D and TechOps stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business needs and deliver measurable value.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience (5 to 8 years) of leading global sourcing & procurement activities in a complex multi-national organization
- Strong negotiation skillset
- Ability to drive parallel processes to meet often conflicting demands
- Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills
- Capability of influencing
- Change agent with strong credibility at all levels of the organization
- Strong communication skills
- Experience of working and negotiating across/within local cultures
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify and explain critical issues
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions
- Demonstrable expertise in Sourcing policies and practices
- Expertise in costing systems & financial reporting measures
- Expertise in quality management
- Procurement or Business Master's degree
- Fluent in French
- Fluent in English
